how do I get there

  • Take the shinkansen to Kagawa Onsen and we will pick you up from there.

  • Fly to Komatsu airport and we will pick you up from there.

  • Drive directly to Takigahara Craft & Stay. Parking is free.

FAQs

  • 8 people will present in each learning session for about 15 minutes each.

You can choose how you’d like to present — with a slide deck, around a shared table, or outside with a bit more space to move.

We will send out a survey as the weekend gets closer to help you plan and make sure you’re prepared.

  • Shared accommodations (a bunk bed in a room shared between 3-15 others), food and non-alcoholic beverages, shuttles to and from Takigahara Craft & Stay, and all activities and workshops.

Alcohol is not included but craft beer, natural wine, and delicious cocktails will be available for purchase.

We aren’t taking a cut — the entire cost goes towards the experience.

  • Let’s work together on it! You don’t have to be an expert to teach us something interesting. We’ve heard ideas ranging from decoding wine labels to teaching the migratory patterns of monarch butterflies.

Space is limited and we would like everyone to participate in the weekend. We will bias towards people who are willing to share. If you really don’t think you can present in front of a group, consider how else you might be able to contribute to the event. Can you DJ? Teach yoga? Guide meditation? Let us know!

  • No! It’s just a chance to get together, swap some thoughts — some silly, some serious — and make some new friends.
